PanARMENIAN.Net - In about 3 hours, Famous French actor Gerard Depardieu will arrive in Yerevan to participate in Karot festival, festival president Metso Igityan reported.

As he said in a conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, this will be the actor’s first visit to Armenia, where on September 4 he’ll meet with the parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

The actor’s 2-day visit to Armenia will be completed on September 5. Depardieu will participate in the award ceremony of Karot festival as an honourable guest. “Whether he’ll be the one to award or receive the prize, will remain a surprise to be revealed at the ceremony,” festival president concluded.
